$1,466 (not able to deposit checks - split among people)
• In bank: over $21,000 (bill to Innisbrook = approx. $8,500)
$2,000 more in profits than last year
Committed: $1,000 6 month CD, $1,000 music dept., $500 Science Fair
Spendable: approx. $9,000

4. OLD BUSINESS:
A. Vending machine: Report
Raised approx. $80 with first round.
B. Baja Fresh Fundraiser: Reminder
October 19th - Give flyer (handout) to everyone you know! You must have the handout in order for CAS to get credit!
C.

Meeting place: Reminder
November meeting at Prater Round Table Pizza.
December meeting will be a combo social event/short meeting.

D. Powers of 10 Night: How did it go?
Between 5 and 6 families went, needed to be advertised more.
E. Science fair: Mr. Braik - Status Report
Total for prizes is $2,270.00.

Elementary school: Update
Do the students have access to water yet?
Water has not been brought to the elementary school. PTC members expressed a concern about basic needs of students being provided. Also, there was mention of rallying parents to attend the October 18, 2006 board meeting. There was a motion made by Alli McKinney-Smith to write a letter of concern to the administration and board. It was seconded by Sherry.
Beautification program:
Bulb planting program - build raised beds where old juniper bushes were, scrap wood needed to build beds.

G. Volunteer programs: Update
Send out needs list to volunteers (soil amendments, wood - 2x4,2x6,2x8, bulbs, 55 Gallon trash can with lids for recycling); received volunteer for afternoon crossing guard and grant writer.
5. NEW BUSINESS:
A. PTC website: Feedback?
Administration loved it, PTC calendar only one available, Halloween High School dance (Friday 20th from 7pm-10pm), Tickets on sale Mon., Tues. and Wed. for $6 or 2/$10.
B. Calendar/Newsletter: Feedback?
Fabulous
C. Recycling: Status Report
Will get up and running, put one out in elementary area.
D. Music Program: Still needs booster club. Fundraising event?
Winter Concert week of Dec 4th. Schwans Fundraiser at concert? Put on PTC website to buy online, state what money will be used to purchase.
E. Presentation of December meeting: Need help with raffle prizes etc.
Evelyn will put needs out to parent e-mail.
F. Teacher requests
Mr. Karacelik asks to have some money to support a family night, he is not sure when, he will come back and let us know when this will be happening.
G. Monopoly Night: November 16th
